The 30 deepwell fuel pumps might be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It can be the second LNG fuel pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales could increase even additional in 2022.
“Until a few years in the past, the use of LNG as a marine gasoline was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are actually seeing a sharp increase in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and automobile carriers,” said Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “ เพรสเชอร์เกจคือ were chosen as the provider of gas pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we purpose to increase our market share additional within the coming years.”
