Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps contains no shifting parts that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or substitute.
Bredel hose pumps also remove the need for ancillary gear such as dry run protection, seal water flush methods and in-line check valves. A hose change takes only minutes and may be carried out in-situ without particular instruments or skilled personnel.
The pumped fluid is completely contained in a long-life hose, defending operation and maintenance personnel and the surroundings from unwanted spillages or exposure to chemical substances. Flow is totally impartial of suction and discharge situations. Protected is precision machined to ensure move stability and pump performance in robust fluid handling purposes.
These industrial pumps achieve move charges as much as 475 GPM, transferring as much as 80% solids in suspension.
