Move Forward Party (MFP) MP Chorayuth “Tonkla” Chaturapornprasit and his staff helped a family of four dwelling in a slum home overwhelmed with trash and an army of cockroaches, rats, snakes, and centipedes.
The MP Tonkla shared the story on Facebook, on August 19, that he visited the household at their house in Soi Charoenkrung 76 in the Bang Kho Laem district of Bangkok and witnessed their atrocious living conditions. The household consists of a six 12 months previous lady, her mom, and two grandmothers.
According to Tonkla, one of the old ladies suffered from psychological health points and stored amassing trash from outside and filling the home with it. As a consequence, it attracted all kinds of vermin and creepy crawlies.
From photos shared on Facebook, the house was filled with discarded plastic bottles, plastic bags, clothes, footwear, and so forth. Forgotten of the family had to sleep on a mattress placed on a pile of trash with cockroaches everywhere.
Tonkla revealed that together with some dedicated street sweepers from the Bang Kho Laem District Office, they eliminated all the trash and soiled, damaged furnishings before cleaning the home. What shocked officers the most was the amount of cockroaches, rats, snakes, and centipedes living in the rubbish.
Tonkla reported that all of the furnishings could not be used anymore so the staff bought new stuff for the family. Tonkla added that he urged the grandmother to promise to not fill the home with trash once more and avoid smoking inside the house. He urged the family to bathe every day as properly.
Many netizens applauded Tonkla and his staff for his or her dedication, and others expressed their need to contribute by donating clothes, beds, and different needed stuff to the family.
However, the MP didn’t report whether or not the grandmother was undergoing therapy for her mental well being situation.
Tonkla later shared an image of a young girl coming back from faculty to see the clear home. Tonkla added that she was pleased and excited to reside in her new house..
