According to knowledge from classification society DNV, orders for 56 dual-fuel LNG vessels have been positioned in January and February.This change in demand has created quite a buzz at Svanehøj. The Danish marine pump specialist quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and there are numerous indications that sales might increase even additional in 2022.
Svanehøj has simply secured an order for gasoline pump techniques for 15 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7,000 TEU), that are to be built at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding. Large investment in lean manufacturing and new gear
To assist the green transition of the maritime business, Svanehøj is at present investing greater than DKK 10 million in upgrading its manufacturing facilities in Denmark. A new manufacturing unit format with manufacturing cells and robotics will support Svanehøj’s ambitious development strategy and reduce lead occasions for all products.
