Ahead of its Annual Meeting and Joint Conference with CEIR and Pneurop in Brussels this May, Europump president Vanni Vignoli seems at the EU’s roadmap for industrial support.

Following its announcements of 5 May 2021 updating the New Industrial Strategy proposed in 2020, the European Commission has additional indicated that it will rely quite heavily on trade to deliver on the most important challenges faced by our economies and societies in Europe. This is especially the case in relation to sustainability, digital transformation, and global competitiveness, in addition to the necessity to overcome the crisis provoked by the Covid-19 pandemic. The EU Recovery and Resilience Plan launched in Spring 2021 is basically constructing on the capability of European business to design and produce the constructing blocks of the dual green and digital transition. At the identical time, the EU is shaping a dense regulatory framework that does not always assist the freedom and suppleness wanted for firms to develop and compete globally.
The European expertise industries, and in particular our pumps, compressors, faucets and valves sectors, have for an extended time considered the enhancement of their international competitiveness inside the challenges of societal and environmental challenges, notably by contributing to the preparation of power efficiency and ecolabel laws. In parallel, digitalisation has provided elevated alternatives and brought new challenges, together with debates on the appropriate regulatory degree (sharing of commercial information, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, etc).
These developments, amidst ever more fierce worldwide competition, require that public authorities and industry within the EU work more and more extra intently to design and deploy strategies that reinforce our competitiveness and our contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). เกจวัดแรงดันไนโตรเจน would be the subject of the initial debate kicking off our Joint EU Policy Conference, which can deliver collectively key policy makers from the three EU coverage institutions in control of the Industrial Strategy and three Executives representing and illustrating the achievements enjoyed, and challenges still confronted, by these three key sectors of trade.
Specific Technical and Policy Issues
As the regulatory landscape across Europe, and certainly the entire world, becomes ever more complicated, the burden on trade only increases. It therefore falls to sector specific commerce organisations, such as Europump, CEIR and Pneurop, to identify and advise on these technical and policy points most related to their respective sectors. In our specific area, that relates, of course, to the manufacture, distribution and use of pumps and all pump related tools – a huge and necessary subset of industry, given the width and breadth of pump functions.
Against this backdrop, one of many main concerns when figuring out the core themes for the joint conference was to keep up a direct reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Within this focus, the three associations intend to spotlight how, together with the importance for corporations to deal with technical aspects impacting their every day business operations, they contemplate the positive position of business in addressing societal challenges. Indeed, all of the periods may have a technical theme matching the most acceptable UN SDG, and with representation from the European Commission together with technical consultants from trade and/or research institutes, they’ll each be reflective of the present legislative terrain, because it relates to pumps and pumping systems within the following key areas:
