Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire National Vacuum Equipment Inc, a US manufacturer of business vacuum pumps and packages for cell use on tanker vehicles.

“The acquisition will add to our vacuum solutions portfolio, permitting us to enter the currently untapped mobile vacuum market,’’ stated Geert Follens, Atlas Copco‘s Business Area President Vacuum Technique.
When the acquisition closes, National Vacuum will become a half of the Industrial Vacuum Division, inside Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Technique enterprise space.
