Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which are 18m in length and the other 4 are methanol lift pumps which are 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and built along the size of the pumps to watch the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank during set up making certain that because the pump is lowered into the tank it stays completely aligned, reducing vibration and put on throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps were then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
spmk700 and installation needed to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the length of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than another deck above the pumps could possibly be built. The first part was accomplished efficiently over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning staff supporting the customer with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO might be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 field, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It shall be geared up to deal with the monsoon circumstances prevalent on the field.
