Sunflowers are blossoming in Bangkok. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is organising the Bangkok Flora Festival where flowers shall be planted in various parks within the capital from now till July. The first garden is a sunflower field at the Vachitabenjatas Park or Suan Rot Fai Park near the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Over 1.5 acres of Suan Rot Fai Park is full of 30,000 sunflowers, and the species chosen to show here don’t have pollen which implies anybody who has a pollen allergy can feel free to benefit from the field. The sunflowers on the Sun Rot Fai Park will be in bloom until the tip of January.
The different three parks to affix Bangkok Flora Festival in the following months are the cleome backyard at Wanapirom Romklao Park in March, the colorful cosmos backyard at Pom Mahakan Public Park in April, and verbena backyard at Chatuchak Park in July.
