A 60 yr old man found the body of a newborn woman, estimated to be about two days outdated, abandoned on a rubbish heap in a bag in Thailand’s Buriram province. The disoriented man, who has a speech incapacity, protected the body from flies until authorities arrived to research and recover the toddler.

Chaleow Phayakkul, an investigative officer from Lam Plai Mat Police Station in Lam Plai Mat district, received a report from residents concerning the found body of a newborn baby at the Khee Dun garbage dump in Moo 2, Kok Klang sub-district.
