A man in Phuket who pretended to be a monk to convince people to provide him ‘alms’ cash publicly stripped off his monk gown in a subject to change into regular garments. The Phuket Provincial Police chief informed The Phuket News individuals complained and despatched movies of the man publicly changing in a subject across the highway from the Phuket Town Post Office. The ‘monk’ left the area after changing.
