Micro Precision Products (a WIKA Group company) can now showcase another great achievement. The biggest orifice plate ever manufactured in India, up to now, was produced in Palwal. The order was placed by one of many largest EPC companies on the subcontinent. Pride was finally commissioned in Bathinda in hawaii of Punjab (Northern India).
Precondition: Precision and know-how
The customer?s project schedule was tight. To meet up Speedy , the production of such 34-millimetre thick orifice plates, made of 316SS steel with a diameter of 2,690 millimetres, and machining, testing, inspection and shipping were accelerated. The shipping of the orifice plates was completed meticulously. As a bore of 1 1,275 millimetres had to be executed with an accuracy of � 0.4 millimetres, precision and great skill were required.

Regardless of the COVID-19-related lockdown, Micro Precision Products succeeded in the duty. This was finished with the help of a special permit from the authorities, among other things. The delivery schedule was met on time. As this was a prestige project for the customer, the business?s tests were of the best standard. These were all met in full. Micro Precision Products? special commitment was received with great appreciation by the client and finally was even expressed in their internal newsletter.
