Around 5.30pm yesterday, 31 troops under the path of Police Colonel Ratana Phatthanasophon, Division 31, had been investigating the smuggling of medication through the Thai-Myanmar border into Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province.
5-6 individuals have been reported walking around the space where the authorities had been present process routine patrols within the surrounding area.
Officials asked the “suspicious men” to cease. But as Try before you buy shot back, causing a shoot-out between the groups which lasted for about 5 minutes. 1 suspect was wounded whereas the remainder have been in a position to get away.
Checking on the scene the subsequent morning, as to what had occurred the earlier night time, officers discovered four black luggage. When opening the luggage they discovered greater than 300,000 methamphetamine tablets.
Rattana mentioned “that the present drug smuggling has changed from nighttime to conducting operations through the day. This is due to the outbreak includes curfew checkpoints”.
